The average human scalp is covered by 100,000 hair follicles and if you have all your hair that may seem like a big number. But if you’ve noticed your hair falling out, each individual follicle becomes much, much more important. What decides the fate of your follicles? What makes your hair grow or fall out?

Let’s shed (pun intended) a little light on the issue.

Hair follicles are like little hair growing machines. They produce every new hair on your head and do it a pattern called the ‘natural hair growth cycle’. This cycle goes through three stages.

1. Hair Growth

New hair is grown by the follicle over a period of 4-6 years. Not all hair grows at the same time, instead follicles are all in different stages of hair growth, creating the ability to have hair at all times. If all your hair grew at the exact same time and fell out at the same time we’d all be bald once every few years.

2. Resting Phase

After the hair growth cycle has finished hair goes into a resting phase and does not grown any more. This period of rest can last anywhere from 2-4 months and varies from person to person.

3. Hair Falling Out

After the resting phase, your hair falls out of the follicle. At this time, a healthy hair follicle begins to grow new hair. The cycles begins again and for the next 4-6 years that new hair grows.

This cycles repeats itself over and over for our entire lives. The balding problem begins when we start to notice old hair falling out and no new hair growing in.

If a hair follicle is not healthy and fortified with the nutrients that it needs it goes into a sort of ‘death state’ and can no longer produce new, healthy hair. Some unhealthy follicles are able to produce only small, clear hairs and others produce no hair at all. This unhealthy hair follicle condition can also be caused by factors like emotional stress or strain, a change in hormonal balance (women), a sudden weight drop or crash diet or other physical alterations that cause your body to no longer provided sustenance for your follicles.

Hair Falling Out Treatment

The key to new hair growth is recharging your hair follicles and restoring them to full working condition. The follicle never dies and with help can grow new hair again.

The FDA has approved Minoxidil, a treatment that restores follicles to working order and promotes new hair growth. Minoxidil can be found in the leading hair loss treatment that is proven to effectively grow new hair for both men and women.

Using this type of treatment almost anyone can stop their hair from thinning and grow new hair. To read more about this hair loss treatment click here.

As discussed on this site I recently noticed my hair falling out. Through this experience I have studied the many causes of hair loss and the treatments that are available to stop it. Of the products, treatments and cures that I have reviewed I decided to go with Procerin hair loss treatment because it contained the only FDA approved treatment, called Minoxidil which has been clinically proven to promote new hair growth in both men and women.

I’ve noticed more and more hair falling out over the last several years and by the time I took a close look at my own scalp to see what was going on I was already pretty far along in my hair loss. My hair had thinned over most of the top of my head and it appeared that male pattern baldness had already set in and was working it’s way all around my scalp.

My dermatologist recommended Procerin and I ordered the treatment online taking advantage of a money back guarantee offer (that is still going on) and started the treatment immediately.

After week one of the 6 month treatment I noticed my hair falling out less and less until I hardly ever saw any on my pillow anymore. I thought this was an excellent results and continued with the treatment over the next month to see what my chances were of actually regrowing new hair in the thin areas.

I’ll never forget the first day I saw it. I was inspecting my head and noticed that there were new hairs coming in in the thin areas. Not only did Procerin stop my hair falling but it was causing new hair to come in!

As it turns out the treatment works by providing your hair follicles with necessary vitamins and nutrients that they need to produce new hair. First it strenghtens the hair you already have and then it repairs the follicles allowing them to grow new hair.

For less than $200 I was able to complete stop my hair falling out and grow new hair leaving my scalp full of thick, totally natural hair. I highly recommend this treatment to anyone that is experience hair loss, only because I have personally gotten great results from it.

If you have recently noticed patches of hair falling out you could be dealing with a case of alopecia areata. Now that’s a pretty ’scientific’ name so lets clear up exactly what it means.

Alopecia areatea (AA) is a condition that causes hair loss from areas of the body (mostly the scalp). It causes bald spots on the scalp and is sometimes called spot baldness. In a small number of cases (1%-2%) it can spread all over the scalp or over the entire body.

The condition is not contagious and occurs more often in people who have family members that have experienced alopecia causing some researchers to believe it is hereditary. It is thought to be brought on by an autoimmune disorder that causes your own body to attack your hair follicles.

Symptoms include hair falling out in small patches in just about any shape but most usually round. The area where hair is falling out may tingle or be slightly painful. Sometimes small hairs with thin bases and thick tops grow from the scalp in the shape of an exclamation point nicknamed ‘Exclamation Point Hairs’.

One way to test to see if you have alopecia is to do the pull test.

Gently pull on some hair along the edge of a thinning patch

Do not pull hard enough to ‘rip out’ normal hair, giving more of a slight tug

If hair pulls out easily, you may be suffering from Alopecia

There are treatments that can stop hair falling out due to Alopecia in both men and women. You can not stop the thinning effects of alopecia and experience new hair growth. This is accomplished by replenishing the hair follicle with necessary vitamins and nutrients, returning them to a natural healthy state and allowing the to grow new hair.

Minoxidil is the only FDA approved hair loss treatment available and can be found in a hair loss treatment like Procerin, which i used successfully to treat my own case of Alopecia areata. The treatment combines a vitamin filled topical ointment that is applied to the scalp daily (morning and evening) and powerful dietary supplements that work together to restore hair follicles to working order.

Treatment can take anywhere from 4-12 weeks with most cases experiencing a major reduction of hair loss in just weeks and new hair growth in 2-3 months.

For more information on Procerin and to take advantage of their 90 day money back offer click here.

For decades baldness was considered a problem for men only. Over the years it has been discovered that all of us, women and men alike need to be prepared to deal with hair loss.

Hair falling out in women can cause serious stress and emotional problems if left untreated so please read the following information and treatment recommendations to stop your hair loss and begin the regrowth process.

You’re brushing your hair and you realize that over time it becomes full of hair faster and faster until you are cleaning it out several times a day. The drain in your shower starts to clog and when you reach down to see what the obstruction is you find that it’s your own hair. You look into the mirror and notice that you can see parts of your scalp through your hair and upon closer inspection realize that your hair is falling out all over.

Is this hair loss in women natural? Will it stop on it’s own? Are you going to go bald?

Let’s start with the basics and talk about the hair growth process and how it recycles itself

You hair follicle grows a hair for 4-6 years (anagen phase) and then rests for 2-3 months (telogen phase) and then the hair falls out and a new hair grows out. Your hair is constantly going through this process and for some this process never ends.

In some cases a lot of hair falls out at once due to a change in the normal hair growth cycle. Either the follicles all go into the anagen (new growth) or the telogen phase (resting state) at the same time and the cycle is thrown off balance. Certain physical, or emotional circumstances can cause this to happen. Some these include:

A Sudden Drop in hormones

Childbirth

Taking or discontinuing birth controls

Fever

Under or overactive thyroid

Chemotherapy

Medications including blood pressure meds and antidepressants

Sometimes, after you have recovered from one of the above conditions hair falling out in women may stop on it’s own and slowly begin the process of normal regrowth. This natural regrowth happens when your body regains the ability to recharge your hair follicles with the nutrients and vitamins needed to grow hair.

Treatments are available that can quickly restore your follicles to a healthy state allowing you to grow new hair. Provillus hair loss treatment contains minoxidil, the only FDA approved new hair growth treatment on the market and speeds the regrowth process up immensely.

By directly applying a vitamin / nutrient rich topical solution to your scalp and taking supplements new hair loss can be stopped in weeks with full regrowth results in months.

Click here to get 2 months of Provillus free now.

Hair falling out in women does not have to mean the end of the world or that you’ll be wearing a hat for the rest of your life. By using a natural hair loss treatment like Provillus, you can soon be on the path to full hair loss recovery!

I recently got an email from a website visitor on my email list about hair falling out . The subject line of the email read “How Do I Stop My Hair From Falling Out?” being that there were also about 18 other emails that week with the same subject line I thought I’d better address that question specifically.

Here is the email I received from Jason and my answer to his question.

HI, I am 40 years old and am noticing a lot of hair falling out of my head and am freaking out. I’ve read your site and your emails and since you were able to turn your own balding situation around I thought you’d be the person to ask “How Do I Stop My Hair From Falling Out?”

My response:

Hey Jason,

Thanks for the email and before I start I have to say that you remind me a lot of me when I first started researching why my own hair falling out ordeal. That being said, here is exactly what worked for me.

I did a ton of research immediately after my initial panic (I almost shaved my head) when I realized I was losing my hair. I sped through website after website, talked to doctors and to friends and was relieved to find that there were products, treatments and supplements that could stop my hair falling out.

I narrowed it down to just a few products and then went on the personal recommendation by a friend and dermatologist who suggested I bypass all the hyped up product offers and use a treatment called Procerin.

He explained that Procerin contained minoxidil, the only FDA approved treatement that stop hair loss and actually grows new hair. I was given a link to a website that was offering a highly discounted purchase price and a 2 month free supply and I ordered the product online. (it’s still being offered here)

I started doing the treatment which included a topical solution that was dropped on my head with a dropper in the thin areas and then massaged into my scalp twice a day and a dietary supplement that I took once daily.

I didn’t see much result for a week or so and was losing faith and then I made a huge discovery. I started cleaning my pillow of hair every night before I went to sleep so that whenn I woke up I could check for hair falling out. On about day eight (8) I woke up expecting to see the normal pile of loose hair there and almost jumped out of my skin when I saw only 2 or 3 hairs there! This was a first for me.

After that day I stopped losing hair and then with more time I started noticing that my hair was actually regrowing in where it had thinned out. I had mirrors all over my bathroom by this point and a few hand held mirrors as well that allowed me to see my head from all sides and sure enough the hair was growing back in.

As you can see from my photos the change was drastic and after four months of using Procerin no one could even tell that I’d ever had hair falling out in the first place.

For me, this is what happened and if you can relate to my story of panic then I suggest you look into Procerin and get started. In a few weeks you’ll see what I’m talking about and I’m sure I’ll hear from you again thanking me for this information.

If you have any other questions please let me know, I’m more than happy to help!

I hope I’ve been able to answer a few of your questions here and that if you’re wondering “How Do I Stop My Hair From Falling Out?” you understand that there are hair loss treatments available to reverse the effects of hair loss and pattern baldness.

For me, Procerin worked very well and has changed the way I feel when I look in the mirror at myself. The treatment is proven to work for men and women providing anyone who is willing to try it the chance to end hair falling out and regrow new hair!

The desire to end hair loss has been going on since 1150 BC when early Egyptians began treating hair loss by applying fats from snakes, geese and other animals to their scalps in an attempt to stop hair loss. Even King Louis VIII wore a wig while he was king in an effort to hide his thinning hair.

It’s no wonder that these myths exist because hair loss has been a problem for so long. Since childhood we’ve heard many different causes for hair falling out. As it turns out (like most things I heard when I was young) most of these causes are not true and can easily be placed into the myth or misconception category.

Top 7 Myths About Hair Falling Out

1. Hair Loss Comes From Your Mother’s Father

This is one of the most commonly heard myths about hair loss and one that I carried with me all they way into adulthood. My mothers father has a full head of hair to this day (age 74) and I took that to mean that I had nothing to worry about. When I noticed my hair falling out at the age of 34 I quickly found that this was merely a myth and the genetic aspect of male or female pattern baldness can come from either side of the family.

2. Cutting Hair Makes It Grow Back Thicker

The only reason this might ever appear to be true is that your hair is thicker at the bottom than it is at the tip, so immediately after cutting your hair it may appear thicker for a short period of time. As the normal hair growth cycle takes place and this hair drops off, new hair with the same thin tip would regrow at the exact same size as the pre-cut hair.

*Note: pulling hair out can lead to hair loss by causing trauma to the follicle causing it to ‘pause’ new hair growth for months.

3. Wearing A Hat Can Cause Hair To Fall Out

The only way hats can cause hair loss is if you put on a hat that was so tight fitting that it cut off the circulation to the hair follicles which would be very, very hard to do. Hair care professionals actually claim that wearing hats can help improve hair quality because they prevent hair from burning in the sun.

4. DHT Causes All Hair Loss

Men often believe that Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is the only reason for their falling out. While it is true that too much DHT can cause hair loss in men and women it’s not the only cause. In cases where DHT is the cause, hair loss can be stopped by regulating the overproduction of DHT and providing nutrients and vitamins to strengthen your current hair as well as promote new hair growth.

5. Blow Drying Makes Hair Fall Out

Unless done excessively blow drying your hair does not cause it to fall out. However, hair that is damaged by heat can be brittle and shed more easily than healthy hair. Of course is hair follicles are burned badly or damaged they can produce less hair or stop producing altogether but only in the most serious cases.

6. Hair Loss Is Only A Problem For Men

This is one of the most common myths or misconceptions about hair loss. Although balding was associated mainly with men in the past, for years it has been recognized as a big problem for women as well with over 35% of all women experiencing thinning hair at some point in their lives.

7. Hair Loss Cannot Be Treated

Treatment has to be the most understood area of hair loss. In the past it was believed that there was no way to treat pattern baldness other than by shaving your head, wearing a hat, having surgery or wearing some sort of hair piece.

But now, with advances in medicine and understanding about the nutritional needs of hair men and women no longer have to live with their hair falling out.

How To End Your Thinning Hair

The FDA approved medication Minoxodil has been clinically tested and proven to promote new hair growth in women and men no matter what the cause of their hair loss. Procerin, the leading hair loss treatment in the market has helped millions of people (including myself) stop hair from thinning and grow new hair.

For those dealing with hair falling out, treatments like this can bring about a quick and powerful change and recreate natural looking hairlines without having to resort shaved heads or operating rooms. Hopefully, in the future science and medicine can create a way to prevent hair falling out completely, but until then I recommend looking into a product like Procerin. Click here to get it.

If you’ve noticed your hair falling out recently, there are a variety of reasons as to why it’s happening. Here I’ll go over the top 6 reasons why both men and women lose hair.

Going bald is commonly considered a problem that only faces men but information is widely available that proves that a large number of women can also experience thinning hair as well as female pattern baldness which is very similar to the more familiar male version.

The following list of reasons can apply to both men and women and each of these reasons are treatable (see below for more details).

Top 5 Reasons Your Hair Is Falling Out

1. Genetics

Baldness can be passed down from generation to generation via the hair follicles. An estimated 95% of men and 75% of women experience thinning hair due to the herditary condition called Androgenetic Alopecia. This type of genetic hair loss can be passed down by either side of the family and it may or may not skip generations. Genetic hair loss happens gradually over many years so the sooner you treat it the better.

2. Age

More than 35% of all men and women experience some degree of hair loss by the age of 30, and over 50% will experience hair falling out by 50. Although most normal types of hair loss happen gradually, over time with age, some conditions cause hair to fall out as early as in teenage years.

3. Medicines / Drugs

Sometimes, taking certain medications or drugs can cause hair loss. Women are at greater risk of this type of hair loss because they are more likely to take medicine for thyroid disease, and birth control.

4. Abnormal Hormone Levels

Most cases of hair loss due to hormonal imbalances can be treated by conditioning the hair follicles and resupplying with needed nutrients that allow the grow new hair.

5. Crash Dieting or Vitamin Deficiencies

Starving your body also starves your hair and any type of crash dieting, sudden weight loss or drastic change in the type or amount of food you eat can results in hair falling out.

As you can see there are many different causes for hair loss in women and men. Sometimes hair loss can stop naturally after your body and / or lifestyle returns to normal.

There are extremely effective natural hair loss treatments that help provide your body with the nutrients and vitamins necessary to recharge hair follicles and initiate new hair growth.

The market leading hair loss treatment, Procerin (for men) combines the powerful FDA-approved ingredient, minoxidil, with natural, tested vitamins, minerals and herbs. supplements and herbs. By using this hair loss treatment daily (topical solutions twice a day + daily supplement) men and women worldwide are able to stop thinning hair and regrow new hair.

When I noticed my hair falling out I almost flipped. If you are reading this, I’m guessing that what I’m about to tell you is going to quite literally save your life. Not only was I able to stop my hair continuing to thin out I was able to heal my hair follicles and grow new hair! Here’s exactly what I did and how you can make it through without going bald.

Step 1 - I Went Into A Panic

Although it may seem like life is crashing down around you, hair loss doesn’t have to mean the end of the world. Hair loss is extremely common in both men and women and most of us are going to experience hair loss at some point in our lives.

Step 2 - I Talked To Someone

Hair loss is an embarrassing problem and most of us don’t even want to admit it’s happening much less talk to someone about it. The only reason I was able to do it was because I have a good friend that had gone through his own battle with hair loss and he’d actually been able to turn his problem around.

I was never sure exactly what he did, I didn’t know if he’d gotten a hair piece or done the hair club for men thing or what but I knew he was not bald, so I called him and we talked about it. He said he’d used a natural hair loss treatment that had revived his dead hair follicles and all the new hair that he had was real and was not a hair piece. (I was immediately interested)

Step 3 - I Took His Advice

He told me about a product called Procerin and gave me an overview. He actually came over to my house and sat down and talked to me… I’m guessing because he knew that I was probably pretty upset (and he was right).

We sat and talked for an hour or so and he told me about his experience with Provillus. He took me through the entire process from purchasing it and getting a free 2 month supply by buying it online and exactly how he’d used that offer to not go broke while stopping his hair falling out.

Step 4 - I Examined His Head

I’m serious. At one point I asked him if it was ok if I actually took a look at his hair and assessed the results myself. He was more than happy and bent his head down and I took a good look.

I was looking for signs of foul play or thin patches or anything but I could not find any. He laughed while I was looking but understood what I was doing, I was looking for some kind of hidden trick that he’d pulled to fake his hair regrowth, but I couldn’t find one.

Step 5 - I Ordered The Hair Loss Treatment

He pointed me to this link where I could get it online. I read all about the treatment, saw that it was 100% guaranteed to work and figured I had nothing to lose.

Step 6 - I Applied The Treatment

Application was really easy, the product came with a dropper that I used to drop the treatment onto my scalp, in all the thinning areas and then I massaged it in. I put i on once in the morning when I woke up and then again at night before I went to sleep.

Step 7 - I Looked Every Day For Results

In the first few days I noticed that my hair falling out at about the normal rate. I cleaned my pillow off every night before bed and monitored it pretty closely. After a few days I was still waiting and then finally I woke up one morning and noticed only a few hairs lying there instead of 20-30. I think there were 4 hairs (yes I counted them).

Step 8 - I Went Crazy

I called my friend and told him the news and he congratulated me (while trying not to laugh) on a job well done and said that the best was yet to come. I kept applying the treatment and waited to see what happened next.

Step 9 - I Started Growing New Hair

No kidding, I actually started growing new hair all over my head. I started noticing that the patches that were the thinnest were visibly filling in. I was less than 2 months into the treatment and my not only had I stopped my hair falling out, I was regrowing new hair. I watched over the weeks and sure enough my hair filled in completely. It’s now four months later and I’m still applying the treatment and seeing how much hair will actually grow, it’s wonderful!

Step 10 - I Made This Website

I decided to make this website in an effort to give back a little and provide someone else with the same treatment that I learned that has done so much for my confidence, my self esteem and my hair line!

If your have noticed your hair falling out I recommend you check out the treatment I used and take advantage of the 2 month free supply that they are offering right now. Click here to try Procerin now.

A few months ago I noticed my hair falling out. As you can probably understand I was almost immediately put in a state of panic about it. I could not figure out for the life of me why my hair was falling out because I didn’t think I was old enough to have to worry about baldness, I was pretty consistent in my hair care and I’d always had pretty thick and healthy hair. I’ve done a ton of research since then and have turned my hair loss around, here are some of the things I’ve learned about why hair loss occurs.

Sometimes hair loss starts with just a few hairs here and there. You see them on your pillow in the morning, you see them in your brush or comb, you see them in your sink and shower. Slowly but surely, the number of hairs you see lying around starts to grow until one day (as in my case) your shower won’t drain and you uncover the ugly truth, your hair is falling out.

After I made the realization that I was losing my hair I wanted immediately asked myself “why is my hair falling out?” This I found was quite a popular question among men and women all over the world.

For most people baldness is the result of your own genetics, or a family history of hair loss. Look back at your family tree, do you see any hairless heads? If so you could be a prime candidate yourself.

But even those with family photos showing nothing but hair-filled heads still might experience hair loss or pattern balding (male or female), for a number of different reasons.

Medications are one common cause of thinning hair. Did you recently start taking a new medication, or did you recently start taking a larger amount of meds? In

Baldness typically refers to excessive hair loss from your scalp and can be the result of heredity, certain medications or an underlying medical condition. Anyone — men, women and children — can experience hair loss. Meds that can cause hair loss include blood thinners, gout medicine, vitamin A, birth control pills and antidepressants.

Certain infections can also lead to thinning hair including fungal infections that commonly infect the scalp and wreak havok on hair, leaving it thin, patchy or totally gone.

No matter what the reason for your hair falling out you can take comfort in knowing that hair loss treatments are available that can recharge your damaged follicles.

Whether the damage is hereditary, related to medicines, due to stress or lack of nutrition these natural treatments can recharge your hair follicles, returning them to full hair growing power. I recently used an herbal hair loss treatment that stopped my thinning hair and regrew new hair and it only took a few months to completely turn my hair loss around.

Recently, I noticed my hair falling out. I started seeing it in several different places around the house most noticeably on my pillow when I woke up in the morning. At first I didn’t think too much of the hairs that were left behind and I just figured I was losing hair like any normal person so I didn’t really even ask myself “why is my hair falling out?”

The first time I started to think I might have a real problem is when my shower got plugged up for the first time. Little by little the water started getting higher in the mornings when I showered before work and soon it was up to my ankles. I thought maybe some soap of the top of a shampoo bottle may have fallen in there and was causing the clog but when I felt around I felt something soft and wet.

It was hair! MY hair… and there was a lot of it in there. I pulled out a blob that was big enough to almost fill the middle of the palm of my hand I just started staring at it. Right then I thought of the hairs that I’d seen on my pillow and I had that ‘aha’ moment and thought to myself…

My hair is falling out.

This was a common problem in my family for both women and men and I guess I thought I would somehow be able to escape it but sure enough it had happened to me. I held a hand mirror up behind my head in the mirror and took a good look and sure enough I could see that it was thinning all over the place.

I immediatley started considering my options

Shave my head (nope, can’t do that)

Buy some nice hats

Find a hair loss solution

I decided to go for option #3 because I’d look silly with a shaved head and I don’t really like wearing hats. I ended up finding an FDA approved herbal solution called Procerin that was very easy to get started on (I got 2 months free) and it was guaranteed to work. I ordered it and tried it and it started working almost immediately.

My thinning hair is now filling in. My shower has not clogged again and I notice no hairs on my pillow now. This stuff is has been extremely effective at stopping my hair falling out!

Update: They just started a new 90 day money back guarantee offer. Click here to get it now.
